System Architecture
We enjoy end-to-end architectural design of large scale data interfaces in very complex system-landscapes. We run the full cycle from requirements, development, testing and go-live using agile methods.
We do full-stack and UX. Interfaces and applications. Oslo → Stockholm → Göteborg → København.
We enjoy end-to-end architectural design of large scale data interfaces in very complex system-landscapes. We run the full cycle from requirements, development, testing and go-live using agile methods.
We have experience with Oracle databases, SAP HANA databases, MySQL, MSSQL and more, but our preference is PostgreSQL, and we believe good database design is core to efficiency in the long run. We are not affiliated with Oracle Corporation, Microsoft Corporation or SAP SE.
We have experience with backend and API management through several languages, but going forward we will prefer Java trough OpenJDK. We have experience with ABAP, JavaScript flavours such as TypeScript and more. We have good knowledge of C++, but this is not preferred in enterprise data projects.
For User Interface we prefer React and Tailwind and as much vanilla HTML5 and CSS3 as possible with the great standard interactive features provided by modern browsers and apps.
We have solid experience with integration of critical systems and APIs internally in complex system landscapes, but also outbound with customers and vendors.
We have developed in many databases, but we are convinced PostgreSQL is a promising technology for the future. On the programming side, we have experience with Java and ABAP, TypeScript and more. For UX we prefer pure CSS and HTML, but have encountered Angular and monitor the developments in React.
We are structured and prefer agile methodologies. Still we are cost-oriented and mindful of project realities and larger contexts like program management and collaboration between development-projects.
We are contractors and produce per specifications. We do however have our own codebases that we license as services. We clearly separate and respect customers’ intellectual property and have solid processes to separate our products from customer internals. Basically, we don’t bring our code to the customer, and we don’t bring code out from customers’ systems to create a clear and professional boundary.
We have experience with managing system setup on Microsoft Azure in a global SAP-project, but we are very positive to other vendors like AWS and Google Cloud Platform. We do not have any partnership agreements to ensure our freedom to do what we enjoy the most: develop new technologies with a Nordic approach.
New applications of data require data! We don’t understand why many think data is boring. We think formulating data strategies, connecting them to process design and application portfolios is great. We have very solid experience with complex data transformation for interfaces, system flows and core data structure design, transforming legacy data to new opportunities.
